Up-cycled Packaging

According to Consumer Reports & Clean Hub, "the beauty industry generates significant plastic waste, with 95% of cosmetic packaging discarded, contributing to long-lasting environmental pollution.” Most of our trash comes from packaging! And according to the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup® (ICC) "plastic bottles, bottle caps, food wrappers, plastic grocery bags, food containers and plastic plates and cups are all among the top 10 most commonly found items polluting beaches and waterways worldwide. Consuming less than two dice’s worth of plastic has a 90% chance of killing a seagull...From the tiniest plankton to the largest whales, plastics have impacted nearly 1,300 species in our ocean. Adults across the U.S. could be consuming up to 3.8 million microplastics per year just from protein alone.” 

This is the main reason why we recycle, upcycle, and reuse all packaging products, resulting in being part of the solution instead of the problem. We do not buy new packing products; your purchase will come in up-cycled packaging. Rest assured, the product itself is made with clean and resusable bottling and jars. Please contribute to less waste by reusing the bottles or jars and packaging your purchase came in. In addition, we promote moving towards living as close to a waste free lifestyle as possible. One step in doing so is to avoid single use, extra wrapping, and plastic items.
